So I saw a Missguided dress styled by a fellow blogger, and then all hell broke loose.
I found myself browsing the site…I browsed and bought…LOTS
I bought so much that it deserved its own blog post – there are so many bargains that I found in the sale here, so take a look and go get ’em before its too late.
Right now I am in love with denim – especially in the form of dungarees/ pinafores. They can be styled in so many different ways. I went for this 70’s style patterned top to go with this one.
The Aztec top was only available in a 6 or 4, I ordered it in a size 6 and it fits me perfectly. I’d usually buy tops in a size 8 or 10
I’ve worn it in this photo as part of a co-ord with the matching skirt, which is equally as much as a bargain.
I styled them with some funky metallic pumps, just in case the outfit wasn’t bright enough already.
Let me take ya – to Croatia
Where did we go?
I’ve been going to this country for a few years now, and go back almost every year (because that is how much I love it there). I always dream about it from the moment I book my flights in the winter – my screensaver at work was of a Croatian beach to ease the pain. Now that I’m back I again can’t wait to go back, and to be honest with you I checked flights to go out again the day after we got back and I am considering booking them – woops.
I usually fly to Split, and stay on an Island on the Dalmatian coast called Brac, which is just under an hour boat ride from Split. Split is a lovely city with plenty of history and culture AND they’ve filmed some Game of Thrones scenes in locations around the city, which lets face it is pretty cool. In summer the city is way too hot for me to walk around too much so I opted for the tranquility of the beaches in the fishing village of Supetar, Brac.
On my time on this epic island I tried to take some moderately decent photographs to show you the beauty of this place and to let you know what styles I went for, just in case you were wondering.
One thing that is beautiful about the beaches here is the water. It is insanely clear, so much so that you see fish swimming by your feet.
You see local fishermen going out to fish and they come back with it all and that is what you get in their restaurants. Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos of the food, but I promise you they can cook out there. The meat is always the best I have ever tasted and the pasta is on par with Italy standards. I need to try and re-create the lasagne I had!
What to take?!
Being on a student budget, I still can’t afford the luxury of proper baggage on flights, so I have to cram it all in to one hand luggage (the maximum size possible) case.
For this I have to take doubly as long to think about my outfits, where as if I had a case I would just be slinging all of my summer clothes that would possibly fit in to it.
So what is super crucial?
1. A great pair of shorts for the beach – that can also be used for night. Levi’s are my weapon of choice

A BBQ is always great in England, whether the weather is good enough for it or not, us British will battle the elements and cook on that barbecue.
Luckily for us today the clouds parted (for most of the afternoon) and the sun was shining, hallelujah!
The event was organised by my sister my sister and her now fiancé’s (YAY) birthdays.
So I was tasked with the job of baking a birthday cake. I chose my ultimate favourite cake – lemon drizzle cake.
Lemon Drizzle Cake
I love this recipe PLUS it’s super simple, it’s pretty much an all in one sponge recipe with lemon juice and sugar drizzled over the top after its cooked.
The recipe is from Gorgeous Cakes – Annie Bell, you can get this from Amazon for under a tenner, it also has loads of other tasssssty recipes, definitely worth a purchase.
Since the weather in the UK has been, well lets face it, pretty amazzzzzing. My boyfriend and I thought we’d go for a bike ride. We head to the Forest of Dean and hired some bikes, then began our 12 (yes TWELVE) mile bike ride.
So despite looking like i’m struggling to keep my eyes open. It was great fun and the outfit I chose to wear included my
Shirt from River Island
– it’s now about 3 years old, so unfortunately I can’t give you a link for that, but there are loads on the market including this one from Topshop
New to all of this. Please be kind.
I hope to bring you some fashioned focused blogs, I like to mix new styles with vintage pieces and blend them together to create an individual style.
Brighton is where I study and I love it! Mainly for the ice cream on the beach and incredible shops
I love to bake and experiment with food, and love to eat it even more.
My other big loves are travelling to new places and animals – especially my beautiful dog Ollie
